ABOUT
I bought my first camera in 1969 in Vietnam. But only a few of my slides from that time have survived the ravages of a fire. I did clinical photography in my dental practice and black and white in my darkroom as a hobby. In 1992 I switched to digital and have never looked back! My work is displayed in corporate boardrooms, hospitals, and galleries, private homes, and on CD covers. I was chosen as the photographer to represent Pennsylvania with 3 images at the new Andrews Air Force Base Hospital near our nation's capitol. My work was chosen as the main image for a French and Indian War exhibit in Mackinaw City, MI. This image is also a permanent part of the exhibits at the International Dark Sky Park in the Headlands, MI. Moraine State Park also uses one of my images for their brochure for Lake Arthur recreational facilities. That same image is displayed in the corporate boardroom of General Electric Power Services in Budapest Hungary.
I have always done my own framing and have now expanded that service to provide complete custom framing services for all my customers through AFFORDABLE FRAMES.
I have also produced about 40 travel videos which can be found on my YouTube channel:drdk84 and as links in the Travel Galleries. The Travel Galleries section is under construction. Return later to see more.
